About Us

The Nine and Ten Forum is a gathering of Indonesia’s power projects stakeholders, including technology supplier, EPC contractors, prominent project sponsors, multinational lenders, PLN and PLN sub-holdings, technical consultants, prominent lawfirms and other major stakeholders with the objective to discuss and solve multidisciplinary issues.

Vision

To be the prominent forum where participants will always remember that Indonesia’s power project issues and ideas are discussed amongst the top leaders from key stakeholders. From these discussions, suitable solutions and strategies are discovered, considered and implemented.

Mission

To be held on an annual basis every June 9th and 10th in an attractive destination in Indonesia, as a discussion conference and networking function in a fun, enjoyable and memorable setting.

To be always attended by many top leaders from financial institutions, PLN group, developers, EPC, OEM and professional advisors (and government) to support Indonesia’s power projects.

To be a sizable forum that discusses in-depth matters related to the RUPTL implementation, and aiding Indonesia’s path during the transition to NZE.

To attract participants and to be recognized internationally as one of the best power project forum in Indonesia.

Our 2025 Theme :

Powering the transition to net zero emission

As we are all aware, Indonesia and various countries around the world have committed to reducing emissions to achieve Net Zero.

However, this cannot be achieved instantly. During the transition period, affordable base-load power plants that prioritize the utilization of available energy sources (coal & gas) are necessary for economic welfare and the country’s development.

In the wake of the recently announced RUPTL 2025 – 2034, in the near term, in addition to new and renewable energy power plants, new builds of ”hydrogen/ammonia/RDF” Co-firing-ready Power Plants will be in service to power Indonesia’s transition to NZE.

Some of these lower emission “transitional” power plants that are already completed or nearly completed, are expected to deliver power in 2025 and 2026 and meet the RUPTL schedule. However, challenges remain apparent for new power plant projects expected to be constructed by 2025, as processes such as project definition, project procurement process, OEM and project financing are yet to start.

We will invite keynote speakers and hold interactive panel discussions to broaden our horizons on project experience, financing, business schemes, and the new RUPTL in conjunction with the conference’s theme.

The conference will bring together senior representatives from more than ten banks from Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, China, Germany and Indonesia’ state-owned banks, who have supported power project financing in Indonesia, to meet and discuss with top leaders from PLN group, developers, EPC, OEM and professional advisors (lawfirms, insurance and technical consultants) aiming for future good cooperation.
